I've enjoyed art throughout my school years. Also, I attended various art classes including Fanshawe College and local art programs; Air Brushing, Watercolour, Oil Painting, sketching and HerStory (women in art). For many summer vacations I travelled Northern Ontario and enrolled in programs at Elora, Southampton, Haliburton, Blue Mountain and Buckhorn. I'm inspired by "The Group of Seven"; especially Lauren Harris and Emily Carr.

I continued my pursuit of Art self training for my business venture "Etchings in Stone"...beautiful portraits and scenes etched in granite monuments, using paasche air eraser and dremel to permanently inscribe custom artwork in stone.

In May, 1997, I founded the group "Nine Fine Artists". I am also a current member of Brush and Palette Club and St. Thomas Art Guild. Now retired, I'm enjoying painting with Acrylic and Watercolour at my leisure.
